OUR STORY

Kingdom Movement started in November 2022 as a casual Sunday gathering. We were a group of 10 families who have walked on this faith journey together for many years prior and felt a calling to start a home church. We started meeting at the current pastor’s home in their living room. Kingdom Movement was officially born as a church, starting with a total of 42 people and becoming a 501c corporation the following month.

As a body of believers, our church values the unity between churches and ministries. Even though we are a young home church, we have partnered with other amazing churches and ministries throughout our time together. Currently, we partner with Care Portal and Path of Life Ministries in Riverside to provide help within the local community. We were involved in the Baptize SoCal event in May 2023 where we were part of history, baptizing over 4,000 people in one day! Our church also participated in the GenZ for Jesus in Los Angeles, which was an event to bring revival to the next generation.

This coming year, we will be part of the Baptize California event where the goal is to baptize thousands of people throughout the whole state of California at local churches all in one day. We will be representing Jurupa Valley as one of the churches who will be hosting the baptisms.

Our heart as Kingdom Movement is to serve our community and partner with the global Church to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

THE CURRENT PROPERTY

OUR GOALS

PHASE 1

We have acquired a piece of land with an old building sitting on it that needs to be renovated before we can move in. We already had the ground leveled off. For PHASE 1 of our building campaign, we plan to pave the front of the property, purchase a semi-permanent tent that will be used as main sanctuary, and purchase modular building that will be used as classroom for kids/nursery and youth ministries. It will be used as storage and church office during the week. We will also need to purchase portable restrooms, and replace the existing gate and fence in front of the property.
PHASE 2

For PHASE 2, we will start renovating the old building, build a small playground at the back of the building, and pave one side of the building. This building will be used as a permanent structure for our kids and youth ministries. It will also be used for our midweek home groups and worship hall.
PHASE 3

We will continue to raise funds to complete PHASE 3 of our building campaign. The money raised will be used to build the most cost-effective sanctuary and facilities for the church by using a manufactured, custom pre-engineered steel building. The design will be minimalistic and modern, while maximizing the amount of space on the land.
We want to be a beacon of light in the community, where people can find hope, healing, and a transformed life through the saving blood of Jesus Christ.
